RANDY PEAKE - Of Adwolf Virginia took a buck of a lifetime on Thursday 12/1/16 in Bland County. Randy actually shot a nice 8 point buck on Wednesday the day prior from the same stand and was going to hunt another piece of the property, but his hunting friend encouraged him to return to the same spot. Randy decided to do a sequence of calls using a grunt call then following it with a doe bleat. After doing this for a period of time he noticed a curious doe behind him and only about 20 yards behind her was this 14 point monster. Randy had been getting trail cam pictures of this buck over the last 3 years, but very few of them were daytime photo's and absolutely no live sightings. Congratulations Randy you have harvested a true Virginia Giant!
