JOSEPH & DONNIE ROWAN - This father and son duo from Catawba Virginia doubled up during the 2017 Va Spring Gobbler season. Ronnie used a rifle to reach out and touch a strutting tom from some distance across a flood swollen creek. His son Joseph waded across the river to go and retrieve the bird, but when he got to where the bird was laying he noticed another gobbler hanging out within shotgun range and bagged him as well. Pretty awesome father/son hunting memory! The pair doubled up in Botetourt County.
