JEFF PHILLIPS - Hey I finally get to put a harvest pic in the photo gallery.. I have been scouting this bird that I named "BOSS" since February and although the conditions weren't exactly ideal for Spring Gobbler opening day(winds blowing snow around at gusts over 30mph and temps in the 30's) I was not going to miss an opportunity to go after him. The ole boy came in quietly with some hens and another nice gobbler around 8:45am. He was the only gobbler fully blown up and strutting and after I allowed him to do his thing for a moment I hammered him with my Winchester Model 12-12 gauge that I inherited from my grandfather.
