DEANNA FORTNER - Of Martinsville Virginia chose hump-day Wednesday 4/12/17 to harvest her very first Turkey. This Gobbler showed up to her calls at 6:55am and she let lead fly. Her bird weighed 22.5lbs, 1" spurs and a 2" beard. The shortened length of her Gobblers beard can most likely be explained by Deanna having shot it partly off which is pretty rare. The Harvest happened in Franklin County.
