DAVID HICKS - Harvested both of these great Virginia bucks on opening morning of rifle season in Pittsylvania County 11/14/15. David first shot the 12pntr(pictured to his left) at 150 yards and then he got down out of his stand and went over to the deer. He decided not to drag the deer out yet because other hunters from his group were in the nearby woods, so he went back and climbed into his stand and continued hunting. Only 30 minutes later the 10pntr (pictured to his right)showed up in the very same spot. David initially thought that the 12pnt buck had some how stood back up. David fired a second shot and when he climbed down and made his way over to the spot there were 2 trophy bucks laying within 5 yards of each other. When speaking to David over the phone he told me that "he doubts he will ever have another day in the woods like this one"
