EARLY VA BOW CONTEST DIVISION October 2-27

1ST PLACE

YOUTH DIVISION

1ST PLACE

Sam is donating $100 cash and Mark a grunt call which will be awarded to the TOP YOUTH WEEKEND PICTURE submitted to SCW over Youth Weekend 9/25& 9/26.  WOMENS DIVISION

1ST PLACE

You will also be able to trout fish on a private stocked stream in the afternoons, once the hunt is over. The properties are unbelievably beautiful and the lodging and food is top notch as well.

Star City Whitetails and Va Public Land Hunters & Fisherman are partnering together to bring you this division.

*When submitting your picture please include: County, weapon, season, and type of public land, show proof of tag marked "Federal Land" in a county that has NF land.

*As quality human beings and hunters we rely heavily on INTEGRITY/HONESTY, so just do the right thing and only submit entries that were harvested on NF property.

*Overall winner of this Division gets to choose between 1st or 2nd place prizes*

To enter this particular contest you need to harvest a Va Black Bear on NF property and please "LIKE" the Old Dominion Black Bears FB page, then simply submit your BEST pictures to the Va Public Land Hunters & Fisherman page or Star City Whitetails page and send seperate proof of the harvest being on National Forest land in VA.

It’s going to take BIG VA BUCKS TO WIN THESE DIVISIONS….

Once the season has ended in early January we will begin the VOTING process which will take place on the FACEBOOK page, and it will coincide with the NFL PLAYOFFS. I will feature a number of rounds of great Va Bucks in which the VA hunting public will vote on, and we will narrow it down to the top VA BUCKS for ALL THE Divisions and eventually crown VA'S STATE CHAMPS....A TRUE SUPERBOWL OF BUCKS!!

 In order to have your vote count you must “LIKE” the page before the voting begins and no sharing of the contest rounds on FB once the contest starts.

This contest reached over 90,000 Virginians last season and over 10,000 folks voted. I appreciate the support from our hunting community, and this season we will again display the very best BUCKS that Virginia has to offer. Take your time and capture great pictures, regardless of whether you win this contest or not you will have pictures that represent your harvest with respect, and capture that unforgettable memory!!

Here at SCW, every legal harvest is celebrated. If it makes you happy it also makes us happy, so make sure you share your pics regardless!
