If you want to get personal with the animal you have harvested you must EAT THE HEART!!!
* Take the heart and cut along the seperations that are apparent, making sure to rid any of the fat or white meat.I even take a very sharp filet knife and shave the outer film from the heart.
* Cut the heart muscle into pieces/strips and soak in a combination of:
Olive oil, salt, pepper, worcestershire and any special spices that you care to use (be creative). I really like to use a quality Balsamic Vinegar to marinate the strips.
* Indoors use a pre-heated skillet to cook the heart or outdoors grill on aluminum foil. Either method make sure you use high heat and cook quickly being careful not to over cook.
* I also prefer to prepare some favorite dipping sauce to dip the pieces/strips in just before consuming.
